Calvin buying that Dragon Head house was always crazily ironic in my mind – A minimalist buying a maximalist house. But I can see the perverse challenge in wanting to make the ugly thing look beautiful…
Whatever Calvin builds in the Hamptons, will make everything around it look second rate. All those opposing neighbors are so completely clueless when it comes to good design.
If architect John Pawson is behind the new project, as I am hoping, then it will surely be the best understated house in the Hamptons …..
